Each year the Warner Men’s Club holds a “Spring Fling Dance” in April with the net proceeds given to benefit a worthy Warner organization.  On Wednesday, May 12, 2010, Rick Davies, Club President and Tom Baye, Club Director, met with Laura Hall, Area Director for the Warner Community Action Program and presented her with a check for $902 for the Warner Food Pantry.

Ms. Hall advised that her Food Pantry services eight towns, with the majority of people coming from Warner. In addition to seeing that the shelves are stocked, part of her job is to apply for grants which help pay for fuel assistance and to work with the utility companies for a discounted electric program.

The hours for the Warner Food Pantry, located in the basement of the old Graded School building, are Mondays and Fridays from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.

The Warner Men’s Club was organized in March 1975 to promote fellowship and provide opportunities for services to the Warner community.  The club welcomes any person 21 years of age or older who has an interest in the community.
